Architect-level Azure platform engineering delivered as a dedicated capability. From first landing zone to full estate maturity. Fixed monthly engagement. Defined engineering outcomes.
02 — The Challenge
Azure moves fast. Your team builds applications, not platforms. The gap between what you need and what you have grows wider every quarter. Governance fragments. RBAC becomes inconsistent. Policies drift. Infrastructure standards erode over time.
You have tried contractors. They arrive, learn your environment, deliver something, and leave. The next one starts from scratch. Institutional knowledge walks out the door every time a contract ends.
What started as a few VMs is now a sprawling estate of subscriptions, resource groups, and inherited decisions. No one owns the architectural integrity of the platform. Governance is aspirational. Your platform has become a liability. These are not operational problems. They are platform engineering problems.
Your organisation has committed to Azure but lacks the platform engineering capability to build it properly. Without landing zone architecture, governance frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code discipline from the start, early decisions become long-term constraints. Technical debt accumulates before the first workload is deployed.
“We engineer platforms. Not projects.”
NRIT Approach
03 — What We Deliver
We provide architect-level Azure platform engineering grounded in Infrastructure as Code and disciplined architectural standards. Engagements focus on structural maturity, not reactive support.
Multi-subscription architectures designed, built, or restructured in alignment with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. Clear management group structure, network segmentation, identity boundaries, and governance established from the ground up or hardened across existing estates.
All platform components are defined in code, version controlled, reviewed, and deployed through structured pipelines. No manual configuration. No drift.
Azure Policy, RBAC, management groups, and tagging frameworks implemented as enforceable standards. Governance becomes embedded in the platform, not dependent on process.
Security controls implemented at the platform layer. Network architecture, identity hardening, and Defender configuration applied consistently across subscriptions.
Operational runbook design, cost governance architecture, and monitoring structure. Ongoing operations and incident response available when full lifecycle accountability is required.
Delegated access through Azure Lighthouse provides visibility into all engineering activity. All changes are traceable and auditable.
04 — Why NRIT
We made a deliberate choice to specialise. While others spread themselves across every cloud provider, we go deep on Azure. This means you get genuine expertise, not generalist guesswork.
You are not buying capacity. You are buying structural progress. Every engagement is anchored in defined engineering objectives: platform maturity, governance alignment, Infrastructure as Code discipline, and architectural integrity. Fixed monthly engagement. Clear engineering milestones. No contractor churn.
We work exclusively on Azure platform engineering so your architecture stays aligned with evolving standards and best practices.
Every platform component is defined in Terraform and deployed through controlled pipelines to prevent drift and enforce consistency.
Landing zones, governance models, and access structures are implemented using patterns refined through real production environments.
All changes are visible, documented, and traceable so you retain control while we maintain architectural integrity.
05 — How It Works
We review your Azure objectives, architectural intent, and organisational constraints. For existing environments, the focus is ownership gaps, governance maturity, and structural risk. For new deployments, it is platform scope, architectural requirements, and target state.
We analyse subscription structure, management groups, RBAC, policy enforcement, network topology, and Infrastructure as Code maturity. For existing estates, architectural drift and governance inconsistencies are identified. For new platforms, reference architecture and governance baselines are defined.
A structured delivery plan with defined milestones. Priorities are set based on risk, impact, and long-term platform integrity. Scope is explicit.
Platform improvements are implemented incrementally through Infrastructure as Code and controlled deployment workflows. Each cycle strengthens governance, automation, and architectural consistency.
06 — Platform Engineering Engagement
Each tier reflects the level of architectural depth, governance maturity, and engineering intensity required. Engagements are delivered under a fixed monthly structure with defined scope and strategic ownership.

08 — FAQ
If something is unclear, contact us directly. We provide direct answers.
09 — Get Started
Start with a 30-minute engineering conversation. We review your Azure objectives, current platform state, and organisational constraints to determine whether a dedicated platform engineering engagement is appropriate. If there is alignment, we outline the next steps.
